Today had not been long. In fact, it sped by rather quickly but he had spent so much of himself trying to keep up. Makaito was tired, more than he had been in a while even for a demon's life. He left the Chili castle, finding his room empty and without life. Perfect. He gathered the few things he needed, many things carefully and meticulously wrapped into think layers of cloth as he put them into his cloak. Makaito disappeared into nothing but ominous smoke.
Slowly he crept his way back into the basements of the mansion. Hand still numb, having loosing most of the feeling there but it didn't matter to the demon. He lay in his bed, somewhat tired from the battle. It could have been worse though. It wasn't safe for them anymore. He needed to be cautious. He pulled the Makaito form away, undressing and going to bed. How long would he sleep tonight? Ten hours? Fifteen? Days perhaps? He yawned to himself quietly.
